Days away from cap and trade regulation

The “No on 23” campaign might be over, but there’s still (at least) one more hurdle to jump over.

The California Air Resources Board (ARB) will hear — and perhaps adopt this week — the Cap and Trade regulation needed to implement AB32, California’s Global Warming Solutions Act.

The draft Regulation is out for public comment, and opponents of greenhouse gas emission controls have launched their attacks. In our conversations with the ARB, it’s clear that the volume of comments (whether negative or positive) count. TerraPass has submitted comments and we’ll be at the hearing in person – but everyone should get into the act of participatory democracy and voice their opinion and support!

Please take 30 seconds to type a note on the Air Resources Board comment page in favor of regulating greenhouse gases, and spread the word.

Take the first step.

Start small. Be conscious of the impact your actions have on the environment and figure out what you can do to lessen the blow. Calculate, conserve, and offset.

For businesses, our Corporate Sustainability Plans can help you with your emission reduction goals.
