Terrapass on the Spring Conference Circuit

At Terrapass we like to minimize our carbon impact and travel budgets, so as the spring conference season approaches, we’re focused on local events with valuable content and a critical mass of thought leaders. Here’s what’s on tap…

**GreenNet09, San Francisco, March 24**

GreenNet is where we show off our technical prowess, highlighting our carbon footprint calculators for both individuals and businesses, and learning more about technical innovation in all things green and clean. Put on by the folks at the Earth2Tech blog, we’re expecting a solid gathering from around the Bay Area and the country.

**Green Travel Summit, Newport Beach, March 23rd-24th**

Typical travel industry conferences have one panel on green travel, and it’s often the last slot of the day. The Green Travel Summit is the first fully dedicated event focusing on green travel strategies.

Travel is one of the largest variable costs businesses manage; it is often also the biggest contributor to a company’s carbon footprint. Terrapass provides solutions to businesses (link: www.terrapass.com/business) and travel managers who are looking to travel responsibly.

**Ceres Conference, San Francisco, April 15-16th**

The annual Ceres conference attracts leaders from communities with different points of view – investors, big corporates, environmentalists and social activists. Organizations like Ford and the Rainforest Action Network get down to business and exchange ideas.

Ceres is also the organization behind important efforts like the Investor Network on Climate Risk, which promotes a better understanding of the risks and opportunities of climate change, and BICEP, an advocacy group of consumer facing businesses, including Starbucks, Sun, Nike and eBay, pushing for a reduction of 25 percent below 1990 levels by 2020, and 100% auction under cap and trade.

*We always love to meet customers and likeminded folks, so come by the Terrapass booth at GreenNet or keep an eye out for a Terrapass badge at the other events, and say hello!*
