Grill smart this summer!
In honor of the official start of summer, we took a look at our favorite summer pastime—barbecuing! Like everything that we do, even grilling has an environmental impact. It turns out that a gas grill produces about three times fewer carbon emissions than a charcoal grill, when taking into account the entire lifecycle of the grilling process.
So fire up that gas grill this 4th of July but think about your carbon footprint as you do. Try a vegetarian barbecue recipe, like grilled pizza or halloumi burgers! And balance the emissions you can’t avoid by supporting TerraPass’ emission reduction projects, which are all made in the USA.
