Ed Begley and Rachelle Carson star in Living with Ed on HGTV

TerraPass featured on Living with Ed

Ed Begley, Jr. is maybe the last person in America who needs a TerraPass.

His own electric car creates no emissions, because he charges it from the solar panels on his roof.

His home is as energy efficient as can be, and draws power from those same solar panels.

For good measure, Ed's personal wind turbine has been generating enough clean power for 10 homes since it was constructed in 1985.

Still, when Ed heard about TerraPass, he was immediately excited.

I was very impressed right away. A sticker you could put on your car so that other people would know about it, you'd have not only the bragging rights but you could perhaps get other people to do it, I just thought right away that was a great idea.

I got one for my wife's hybrid car, which I take on long trips. It was $29.70, it was very cheap, for a whole year. And so I got that right away and put it in. And Rachelle liked the idea.

If 25% of the population did this, there would be a great change that would occur. With the funds from TerraPass, you would suddenly have this huge flood of cash available to put up more wind turbines, to do more green energy. It's a very real transaction and it gets even more real as more people do it.
