The wedding emissions calculator combines estimation techniques from the driving and flight calculators, as well as some additional data regarding the typical energy use in hotels and conference halls, to come up with a total estimate for carbon dioxide emissions from your event.

In addition to a verified reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, your Wedding TerraPass comes with a certificate of offset in an attractive frame made of recycled wood. The certificate lets your guests know that your event is carbon balanced. And when your wedding is over, you can use the frame to display pictures of the happy day.

When you buy a TerraPass, we purchase verified carbon offsets on your behalf. These carbon offsets fund a measurable, verified reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.

We will send you a letter verifying the amount of carbon dioxide emissions you have reduced. You will also receive a product content label detailing which project types we fund with your money.

In addition, you’ll receive gifts you can use to help spread the word about global warming and show the world your commitment to reducing carbon emissions.
