MAISON ORION has reduced up to 200 metric tons of carbon emissions in the current year.

Carbon dioxide emissions, the principal cause of global warming, are an inevitable consequence of energy use. Every time an individual or organization uses electricity for lighting, fuel for transport, etc., additional carbon emissions are released into the atmosphere.

MAISON ORION has partnered with TerraPass to sponsor clean energy and carbon reduction projects that result in a verified, measurable reduction in carbon emissions.

About MAISON ORION

MAISON ORION is a multi-faceted design studio based in Los Angeles. While primarily engaged in the design of buildings, our focus is rather on enriching life and investigating the qualities that make for graceful and uplifting habitats. The founder of the studio, Scott M B Gustafson, is a LEED Accredited Professional with the United States Green Building Council. He is also an adopter of the Designer’s Accord, a public pledge to create positive environmental and social impact through design. Sustainable, low-energy use design is at the core of what we practice. On every project we establish sustainability guidelines with our clients and target our design solutions to meet those targets. We always aim to create buildings and places which celebrate rather than denigrate the environments in which they are situated.
