Since 1977, Ecoprint has provided Washington, DC area nonprofit organizations with design, printing, data, and mailing services. Our specialties include printing of publications and direct mail. Ecoprint has created a model of sustainability for its industry by: manufacturing its own papers to high environmental standards winning a grant with EPA to create a new line of “Eco-inks” that are free from toxic metals using 100% renewable wind energy, and investing in methane reclamation projects that removes harmful greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, enabling our manufacturing to be “Carbon Neutral.” conducting “green choices” seminars for customers to help educate them on sustainability operating since its inception with a “no-layoff” policy that promises the owner must first take a 25% pay cut before any employee can be laid off. maintaining open financial statements with employees and reinvesting 50% of profits in its employees and the community.
