A new worldwide database to list carbon offset purchases

There’s a new database in town. The World Carbon Database (WCD) is a non-profit open source site that comprehensively indexes carbon offset purchases. Visitors to the WCD website can look up any individual or company to see if their offset purchase is listed on the site.

In partnership with the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, the WCD’s free service aims to educate the public about the science of climate change and to promote ecologically responsible behavior, including the purchase of offsets.

As a founding member of WCD, TerraPass is inviting its customers, both individuals and businesses, to register their offset purchases. You can learn more about the WCD by visiting their website where you can also register an offset purchase from TerraPass.

Will TerraPass provide information as to how much carbon an individual has offset in the past? The form required an amount to be put in. I've used TerraPass multiple times over the pass couple of years and cannot remember how much.
