New project: Hilarides Dairy open for public comment

Adam Stein | July 8, 2008

Let us know what you think of our eleventh project to go through public review.

Our eleventh project is now open for public comment. The Hilarides Dairy, located in Lindsay, CA, powers almost all of its on-site electricity consumption by capturing waste methane that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.

Check it out and let us know what you think by emailing us at projects@terrapass.com. The comment period is open until August 8.

And a reminder: the comment period on the Green Valley Dairy is open for two more weeks.

I don't see any way to comment directly from those two project info webpages, so...

They both look really good to me, particularly Hilarides for its level of electricity generation for self-sufficiency.
