Free TerraPasses at Hopland SolFest

Tom Arnold | August 19, 2005

If you’re heading up to SolFest this weekend, then even if you’re not a TerraPass customers, don’t feel bad about your auto pollution. Solar Living Institute and TerraPass have teamed up to help balance things out with free TerraPass “weekender” passes. Each pass is good for 240lbs of CO2 pollution and has a 10% coupon for TerraPass on the back — we’ll be handing 2500 of them out each day.

Some answers to anticipated questions:

Does this mean that I don’t have to carpool with [insert neighbor, mother in law, friend, the smelly vegetarian]? They smell.

Technically, no, but TerraPass is not a license to pollute. Be responsible and reduce consumption where possible. Where not possible, balance it out with TerraPass.

This is a cool idea! What about my festival/conference/race/wedding?

Sure. Give us a call. For a decent size event (100+) we can calculate the emissions and help make your event more sustainable. Give us a call or email for more information

Uh, does this mean I can drive my Hummer to Hopland?

Uh. no. Please stay home.
