Making friends the old-fashioned way: join our Facebook group and we’ll make 20 pounds of carbon disappear
by Orrin Cook – October 24, 2006
Encouraged by the level of discussion recently on our blog and with the release of our Dorm TerraPass, TerraPass has formed a new group on the college-centric social networking site Facebook. The goal of the group is to get a whole lot of people, not just college students, to talk about the simple steps they can take to help reduce CO2 emissions. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who want a forum to connect with like-minded individuals or battle it out over the best way to subsidize clean BTUs, it should be fun and lively.
You can access our group (TerraPass: simple steps to fight global warming) here:
We encourage you to stop by regularly, add to conversations, invite friends, and make suggestions to the TerraPass team. As an incentive to join, we’ve even pledged to offset 20 lbs of CO2 for every new member that signs up.
