I have a 6 month old baby, and most of his toys use "D" or "C" cell batteries. This charger along with the rechargable batteries have saved me a ton!! Especially when my 4 yr old would leave his toys on until the batteries run down. The only downside is that it takes 15 hours for the batteries to fully charge...so I always keep a back-up set charged to pop right in. Its a little pricey but definately worth the investment; financially & environmentally!
